Protocol
Fees and plans
| Item | Amount | Paid to |
|---|---|---|
| Layer plan | 20 USDG per 30 days | Dotwork treasury, on Robinhood Chain |
| Gas fees on a layer | gas used × gas price, in the gas token | The layer's fee vault |
| Creator share | 0 to 90% of the fee vault, set at launch | The creator address, on the layer |
| Protocol share | the rest of the fee vault | The operator address, on the layer |
How the split runs
The base fee is zero, so nothing is burned: the whole fee goes to the block's fee recipient, the layer's fee vault. Each batch the vault is swept in two transfers, both visible in the explorer. The creator can bridge their share to Robinhood Chain like any other balance.
An example
At 1 gwei and 80,000 gas per transaction, a transaction pays 0.00008 of the gas token. A layer doing 12,000 transactions a day collects about 28.8 USDG in 30 days; with a 70% share the creator receives about 20.2 USDG, which covers the plan.
